Syde Protocol Overview
Syde Protocol is a synthetic DeFi layer built on the TON blockchain. It facilitates capital efficiency by allowing users to create synthetic assets that represent real-world assets like stocks, commodities, currencies, and cryptocurrencies from other blockchains. These synthetic assets provide users with exposure to markets that don’t natively exist on TON.
Synthetic assets are backed by collateral, which can be used in DeFi strategies to earn yields. Meanwhile, the synthetic assets themselves can be used in liquidity pools to earn yields or simply held to gain exposure to the underlying assets. This creates a dynamic ecosystem where users can maximize their capital while diversifying their portfolios and accessing new opportunities.
